Hi James,
Thanks for your feedback, it is much appreciated.
I’d love to first share my perspective on this and I’m open to having an open discussion about it.
If credentials are important to you to trust the science I have presented, then I am a board-certified clinical pharmacist with over 10 years of experience working in the hospital system. I was a former supervisor for the LA County Department of Health Systems overseeing 6 major hospitals and over 250 clinics. So I am very familiar with how seriously this virus is impacting people. I’ve also dove very deep into medical journals (the same that MD’s read) to understand the science behind what I present in my work.
My perspective around this virus itself and how it should be the least of our worries is not to say to take it lightly, but moreso of the fact that the more we worry, the less we are able to focus on how we can contribute to help improve the situation.
As a result of this article, I have been moved to read posts about how this has comforted individuals and even moved them to make a conscious decision to step up and figure out ways to help out. People have decided to get people together and make masks for law enforcement and health care workers.
So if that’s not adding an even bigger contribution to help slow the spread of the virus, I’m open to hearing suggestions on what else we can do.
Because at the end of the day, that’s my priority here.
Thanks for your thoughts =)
